We were in the Botanical Gardens, Chicago on Saturday, the 12th April, 2014. It was a sunny, breezy day. The park was full of people, outing on a fine-weather day. The winter was still receding, the spring showing its head every now and then, light showers blessing the barren trees for their fresh leaves, the Sun playing hide and seek on many days, and the overall weather changing unpredictably in a predictable manner, the Botanical Garden, Chicago offered a fabulous sight of what survived the winter.
